Operation Toofan 2.0

Together Against Drugs

Operation Thoofan
The Narco Hunt

Building a strong social resistance against drugs through awareness, collective action, community participation and the protection of our younger generation.

Core Message
Say No to Drugs.
Protect Our Young Generation.
As part of a strong social resistance against drugs, awareness programmes are being organised under the message “Operation Thoofan – The Narco Hunt”. These initiatives aim to strengthen collective action against drug abuse by bringing together different sections of society, including students, teachers, elected representatives, officials, social workers, parents and the general public.

Creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug use and, particularly, protecting children and the younger generation from the dangers of drugs are the key messages promoted through Operation Thoofan.

Students’ Collective

01

Active Participation of Students

Rallies and awareness programmes organised with the leadership and participation of students under the theme “Operation Thoofan – The Narco Hunt” deliver a strong anti-drug message to society.

02

Building Social Responsibility

Along with protecting the younger generation from the dangers of drugs, such programmes help develop social responsibility, awareness and vigilance among students.

“Let us say no to drugs and protect our young generation.” Operation Thoofan highlights the need for society to stand together with a strong and united message against drug abuse.

Operation Thoofan — A Collective Resistance

03

Drug use and the spread of drugs are serious social issues that affect individuals, families and communities alike. Strong awareness programmes and social interventions are essential to address the spread of drugs, particularly when children and young people are at risk.

Accurate Knowledge Provide society with reliable information about the harmful effects of drug use.
Awareness of Risks Educate children and young people about the dangers and risks associated with drugs.
Community Participation Ensure active participation of the public in anti-drug awareness and prevention activities.

People’s Participation

The fight against drugs is not the responsibility of any single section of society. Strong anti-drug prevention requires coordinated intervention by Local Self-Government Institutions, educational institutions, police, excise, health departments, legal services systems, voluntary organisations, parents, teachers, students and the general public.

Through the Operation Thoofan initiative, the aim is to bring together different sections of society against drugs and build an alert, aware and people-centred collective response.
